The Internet is a wonderful invention. It allows us to connect with distant people, learn new things, and do a lot of other stuff! In these times, many of us cannot even imagine life without it!

But not everything is safe on the internet, it can also be used for bad things by bad people.

You must also learn to protect yourself when using the net. Always be wary of strangers online! Some bad people may try to hurt you or your family, by trying to steal your information, bully you online, or show you something bad; and you must know what to do when that happens.

When in doubt, always ask a parent, a guardian, or a trusted adult for advice on what to do. Never try anything risky on your own!
